Prologue

There was no shame as I continued towards him. He didn't look at me though, choosing to look out of the window next to his bed instead. I scowled at being ignored and crawled over him to settle myself on his lap so I could straddle his legs. This caught his attention and without wasting any more time, I brought my face closer to his neck and placed a small kiss on it. He flinched, and at first it looked like he wanted to get away from the touch, but I knew him better than that, so I didn't move away yet. I felt him relax underneath me and knew it meant I was allowed to continue. I smiled happily into his neck and wiggled a bit on his lap, getting more comfortable.


"Axel." I spoke slowly, making his name come out of my mouth as a hiss against his throat. I know he loves it when I talk like that.


I know everything about him.


My fingers slid over his face, caressing his skin but still barely touching him. Leaving his neck behind, I gave him a small kiss on his lips. I placed both of my hands on his face and made him look me in the eyes as I leaned my forehead against his.


"Do you want me to continue?" I asked in a quiet voice. It was a pointless’ question, because I already knew the answer. Axel just kept silent and looked at me with a confused expression, but that was enough for me to understand what he really wanted.


I lowered myself from his lap to rest between his legs, never losing eye contact. His beautiful green eyes were mesmerizing as always, this time half-open and full of lust. Smiling at him, I undid the buttons of his pants one by one and let them slide down to his ankles. I gave a soft kiss to the inside of his thighs before slowly crawling back to my spot on his lap. I let my hands fall down between us to touch and playing with the underside of his shirt. I wanted to just get rid of the damn thing, but a thought crossed my mind and made me frown. With a sigh I closed my eyes and let my head fall on his shoulder to rest it there. I just couldn't help asking.


"Doesn't it feel odd to do it in your bedroom?" It wasn’t his bedroom, mind you; it was their bedroom. Those thoughts made me angry but I tried to not think further about it.


I smirked as I'd tried to ask the question in an innocent way, but I knew it was a lost effort. He and I both knew I had lost my innocence a long time ago, the moment I let him touch me.


Like before, Axel didn't open his damn mouth and stayed quiet. I growled, annoyed by his behavior, and punched his chest. I didn't want to hurt him; I was just irritated. I glared at him evilly and ticked his nose with my finger.


"You know..." I started "If you do it here with me, she'll just find out about it the moment she sets foot in this room. Hah, maybe...maybe she knows about it already? That would explain why she hates me so much, right?" I rolled my eyes at that. Axel always told me that Larxene liked me a lot and that I was just making things up. I always disagreed with that though. I let those thoughts slide and left his lap to settle myself on his right.


"Is that why you are so quiet and tense today? Is it because it's your house and your room? ‘Till now we only had 'quality time' at my place, didn't we?" I huffed and brought my knees closer to my chest so I could wrap my arms around them. I put my head down and turned my head his way so I could face him. I watched him closely taking note of his stiff posture. Not only was he a lot quieter than usual, he was also a lot more tense. He wasn't even looking at me, and I know how much he loves to look me in the eyes.


I played with my toes for a few seconds, not knowing what else to do, before dropping my hands and turning my attention back to Axel.


"You know , I was serious when I said that she will find out about this," I murmured while looking straight at him, "I mean, I always knew when you guys did it. I bet you guys did it this morning, in this room too, didn't you? Right before she went to work..." I laughed a bit when I saw Axel's shocked face. He was probably wondering why I knew such a thing. The smile dropped fast enough though and changed into something solemn. "I knew it. Stuff like that, you just know it when you love someone a lot".


Silence took over the small bedroom again. Axel still didn't say a word and I leaned my head back against the wall to look at the ceiling.


"I don't mind it though, just so you know that. I don't mind it, because I know you love me. You can't do anything about it. You're married to that woman, so if she wants sex, you give her sex. And of course, you don't want her to become suspicious..." I lowered my head onto his shoulder and closed my eyes. "I don't mind it, because when you have sex with her, you don't feel any love... contrary to when you’re with me, right?" I smiled playfully at what I said. That's right. Even if I had to share Axel's body with her, his heart still belongs to me and only me. "As long as we make love and you two have sex, there is no problem at all." I took his left hand to intertwine our fingers together and softly squeezed. "Got it memorized?" I felt him squeeze my hand back and I saw the smallest of smiles on his face when he caught me saying the small catchphrase he always so proudly uses.
